I have been wanting to learn how to play pickleball since I heard about it a couple of years ago. I was hoping to find a place to play when I got home last spring, but Covid put an end to all of that. At Trivia recently, I met a man named Ashley. He told me about the local games. He plays three times a week. So, Trevor and I went today for a beginner lesson. I’m hooked.
And this lovely face greeted me when I got home.
So, tonight’s dinner is a curried lentil/pork sausage stew, hummus with french bread and bananas Foster for dessert.
Today’s playtime:
We’re going to take our Pickleball Rackets with us to Florida when we go in March. Mary Russ are as well. Maybe you could give us some lessons before we go!
Ha! That is not going to happen. I would suggest, however, that you get lessons from a professional. They’re out there. Bill, our teacher today, is a certified teacher. He has been playing a long time, and he said that you want to start out right and not get into bad habits. I need to get proper shoes. I can already feel the effects in my body.
What great day Sis!! That Pickleball looks fun!
I love your cards and the beautiful flower!!
Thanks. I so love making them. Yes, the flower is beautiful. My cards pale in comparison. God is saying, “Look what I just made!” revealing the beauty of creation everywhere. So much fun to be part of the process.
